Laurelhurst Market, a solid looking steakhouse and butcher shop, caught my eye with their menu and market selection. Yet, their current logo lacks the personality and placemaking this spot deserves. We wanted to create a set of logos that would look as good as the food they serve and draw more people in.
Sticking to the circle badge concept, the goal was to inject a dose of luxury into the logo. Keeping the maroon base, we spiced things up with detailed typography for that handcrafted market feeling. The sign got a facelift, offering a sneak peek into the potential evolution of Laurelhurst Market's physical branding. Beyond the logo, we’ve debossed some leather menus, created a variation for the crew, and designed some market-worthy merchandise, all with the goal of enhancing the overall brand.
