Welcome to another installment of Local Logo Redesign, today we’re in Beloit, Wisconsin checking out Mule Hide Products. A roofing material manufacturer who’s logo we came across in a stack of product brochures.
For the redesign, we wanted to keep some of the cartoonish nature of the logo, they have been using the same mark for a long time, and we wanted to put some value on that. We wanted to update it for more digital use, and make it a little easier to use throughout their product lines.
The main change was using a new typeface as well as creating some different lock-ups for the logos. We didn’t do any mock-ups for this concept because we didn’t really know where to put this.
Thinking back, we could have tossed it one some shirts, and a website, but you live and learn.
Here is the updated logo, complete with its new brand colors and a few variations to use in different applications.
