Local Logo Redesign - Salt Lake City, Utah
Welcome to another installment of Local Logo Redesign, today we’re exploring Salt Lake City, Utah and taking a stop at Sugar House Coffee.
Their current logo feels a little bit basic, so we wanted to breath some life into the brand. It seems like a really nice spot to have a cup of coffee and get some work done, and we want the brand to convey that message.
Our mission is to elevate this logo to the next level and bring in a little personality. It took a while to find the right icon that merged a house with some element of coffee, but we are pretty excited about the result.
We’ve paired the icon with a nice handcrafted font to bring a little charm to the brand and done a few different variations of the logo so that it is easy to use across applications.
We think this would be a great upgrade that would bring the brand to life. However, it’s so important to realize that understanding a business inside and out is vital to creating an identity that truly connects with a target market. That’s why when we work together on a brand we truly believe that partnership is the best policy.
Here is the updated logo, complete with some new brand colors.
We've extended this visual evolution onto different mediums—a bag of coffee, a cup, and even some merchandise. The emphasis on personality is demonstrated throughout the mark and color palette.
