Oregon AEC Branding & Websites

Oregon AEC Firms Do Exceptional Work. Let's Make Sure It Shows.

From Portland to Bend to Eugene, Oregon's architecture, engineering, and construction firms are building some of the most interesting work in the region. Fairbuilt helps those firms build the brand and digital presence that reflects it.

Oregon's Built Environment

A statewide market with distinct needs and real opportunity.

Oregon is not one market. Portland firms are navigating urban repositioning, adaptive reuse, and a shift toward housing and infill. Bend firms are riding a growth wave that has brought both opportunity and intense competition. Eugene firms are deeply tied to university-driven development, with student housing and campus-adjacent projects reshaping the city's core. Coastal and rural firms are building in communities where reputation is everything and word travels fast.

What connects them is that the quality of the work is high, and the brands representing that work often are typically not. Across Oregon, firms that do excellent work are frequently underselling themselves with outdated identities, neglected websites, and messaging that has not evolved since the firm was founded.

Fairbuilt works with firms across Oregon to close that gap. We help you build the kind of brand and digital presence that reflects where your firm actually is — and where it is headed.

Who We Work With in Oregon

Oregon firms that typically partner with us.

We work with architecture firms, engineering firms, construction companies, and real estate development firms across the state. The common thread is not size or location — it is where a firm is in its growth. We tend to work best with firms that are:

• Doing strong work but presenting themselves below the level that work deserves
• Navigating growth, a leadership change, or a shift in the kind of work they want to pursue
• Competing for projects in markets where reputation and perception matter as much as the portfolio
• Building their team and finding that their brand is not attracting the candidates they want
• Ready to invest seriously in the next chapter of their firm's growth

What We Do

Brand Strategy, Identity, and Websites Built for Oregon AEC Firms

Our Capabilities
Our Capabilities
Strategy
Brand Strategy

We help Oregon firms get clear on their positioning before investing in design or marketing. That means understanding who you are for, what makes you different, and how to communicate that in a way that resonates with the clients you want to attract. Every firm is different. Every strategy reflects that.

Identity
Brand Identity

We design complete identity systems — not just logos — that hold up across proposals, signage, your website, and every other context where your firm shows up. Built to scale with your firm and backed by a brand guide your team can actually use.

Website
Design & Development

We build websites that work as business tools, not just portfolios. Clear positioning, strong project presentation, SEO structure, and a site your team can manage. Fast, focused, and built to last.

Why Fairbuilt

We know Oregon's AEC market because we work in it

Fairbuilt is based in Portland. We have worked with firms in Eugene, Bend, Salem, Coos Bay, Portland, and across the state. We understand the competitive landscape, the regional design culture, and what it takes to stand out in Oregon's built environment market.

Our founder, Brad Phillips, spent years practicing architecture before launching Fairbuilt. That means we come to every project with industry context baked in. We understand how Oregon firms win work, how they grow, and what a strong brand does for a firm at each stage of that growth.

FAQ

Answers to Common Questions

We are not in Portland. Do you work with firms in other parts of Oregon?

Yes. We work with firms across Oregon and design our process to run effectively regardless of location. Most working sessions can happen remotely, and we travel for key moments when it makes sense.

What does a typical engagement timeline look like for an Oregon firm?

Brand strategy runs four to six weeks. Brand identity runs six to ten weeks. A full website engagement runs eight to fourteen weeks. Full engagements covering all three typically run sixteen to twenty-four weeks. We work efficiently and set clear expectations before the project begins.

How is working with a Portland-based studio different from hiring a local designer in our city?

The difference is specialization. Most local designers or marketing agencies are generalists. Fairbuilt works exclusively with AEC firms, which means we bring industry context and strategic depth that generalists cannot. That specialization pays off in the quality of the positioning work and in the time you save not having to teach us your world.

Is this the right investment if we are a smaller firm outside a major city?

Often yes, especially for firms in smaller markets where reputation and word-of-mouth drive most of the work. A strong brand amplifies your reputation in those networks. And for firms that want to grow beyond their immediate geography, a polished digital presence is the foundation for doing that credibly.
